You’ve outgrown your childhood friends and you’ve picked the wrong degree. Worry not, you are not alone. According to the website Gumtree.com, 86% of the 1100 young people questioned disclosed that they felt under pressure to thrive in their jobs and relationships before reaching their thirties.
Cary Cooper, professor of psychology at Lancaster University, said: “They are entering a different world and while that world gives them more choice, it also gives them less security and structure.”
The solution to this dilemma is to remove negative people from your life and to meditate on what you truly want, as opposed to what others expect from you.
